Since you’re still having to work out a price, you’re better off shopping for your new car in Fresno directly with the dealer.

  1. I really like going to a broker, because they give you prices up front.

    Also brokers can get you a great deal because they know when a car has been sitting on the lot a while, and when the dealership will sell it for less.

    So the broker takes a $300 commission, the dealer give a $500 discount and I still save $200.

  2. Good point Adam, I think it depends on your level of car buying experience as well. I’ve worked in that industry for about 5 years so I’m comfortable working with the dealership directly.

  4. I am not from Fresno but I agree with you that if you dealer shop you may do better depending on the dealers sales month to date. Some dealers having a bad month will do anything to make a few more sales before months end!
