Well, we finally started a new tradition and went to Cobb’s Christmas Tree Farm in Fresno, CA. The farm is right of Hwy. 41 and is really easy to get to. They also do a cornfield maze in October and a few other events throughout the year. My wife and I both wanted to do something like this every year, but we finally have started this tradition. We think that as our daughter grows up she will look forward to heading out to Cobbs and either picking a Christmas tree, or cutting one down. This year we didn’t cut one down because she is only 7 months old and it was pretty chilly outside. We didn’t want to keep her out in the cold all night while I hacked at a tree for 3 hours.

If you’re in the Central Valley, Cobbs Ranch is a highly recommended and definite stop on our list for just about everything they offer. Oh yeah, almost forgot about the pumpkin patch. They had thousands of pumpkins, some grown locally and some trucked in. You can pick a pumpkin, ride the tractor, pet the animals and a variety of other things including pumpkin carving. Cobbs is a great place for family fun in Fresno.
