Our customer, a global leader in the design, manufacture, shipping and sale of OEM security and surveillance equipment has an immediate need for a 3 month contract employee in the International Sales and Account Support department for their Latin America customer base at their Clovis, CA location. This position will last approximately 60-90 days to fill in for a leave of absence. SUMMARY OF THE OEM AFTERMARTKET INTERNATIONAL CLIENT CARE AND ACCOUNT SPECIALIST SUPPORTING LATIN AMERICAN CUSTOMER BASE: – Performs varied administrative and customer service functions to facilitate customer national and international account management and the efficient operation of export shipments; strives to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and upholds the company’s commitment to Fanatical and Excellence customer services at all times. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION: – Processes orders from inception to completion. – Coordinates with Credit, Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Shipping departments in order to meet cost and deadline targets. – Receives incoming order related correspondence; sorts according to priority; prepares and handles order correspondence dispatches details. – Receives incoming quotation related correspondence; coordinates with the technical support group as necessary; prepares and handles quotations following up, as required. – Checks incoming orders for completeness and accuracy; makes adjustments and/or corrections, as needed. – Supports customer service by accepting overflow calls, as needed. – Prepares and processes all documentation required in the course of export shipments: quotations, proforma invoices, SLIs, order confirmation, CAs/RAs, invoices, packing lists, inquiries, etc. – Prepares and processes documentation in connection with Letters of Credit, wire transfers, drafts against acceptance, and other payment related documents. – Coordinates shipping process with freight forwarding agents. THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA ARE ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY: – Fluently Bi-Literate in Spanish as this role will be working with the Latin American customer base. – Minimum of 1 year experience working in an after-market or technical customer service support role. – Extensive knowledge of modern office methods, equipment, practices, business correspondence and filing. – Knowledge of correct English usage, vocabulary, spelling and mathematics. Assessments will be given. – Basic knowledge of export shipment documentation and procedures. – Ability to type at the rate of at least 40 words per minute. Assessments will be given. – Ability to operate a personal computer including thorough familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database applications as well as email and internet browsing applications. Assessments will be given for MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook. – Ability to think in a logical and systematic way to solve problems, incorporate suggestions and create solutions. Assessments will be given. – Ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. – Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with those contacted in the course of work, both in oral and written form.
