PACU RN / 13 – Week Assignment (FRESNO)
This is a 13 Week travel position. Special pay rate: up to $1450 net weekly. Not including OT. Positions will not last at this pay rate. Must be able to take call and respond within the hospital-required response time. The qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of experience. Active California State Nursing License Required Certifications: PACU Experience Required – 2 years BLS issued by AHA Required ACLS issued by AHA Required PALS issued by AHA Required ICU & Trauma Experience Required ***Manager will conduct phone interview*** SHIFT: 36 hours, Days, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM Complete Description: Travelers should be able to independently manage patients on ventilators, manage vasoactive drips, narcotic drips, care for patients after craniotomies with ICP monitoring and external ventricular drains, able to do massive fluid resuscitation, massive blood transfusions via a Level 1 blood warmer, manage patients with chest tubes, patients with multiple fractures, stab wounds, gunshot wounds, manage pediatric patients and have current PALS certification. They should be comfortable with arterial lines, central lines and Swan-Ganz catheters. RN should know how to assist in the placement of these lines.
