The Cesar Chavez Education Institute is a project of the National Farm Workers Service Center that was founded by Cesar Chavez in 1966. The Institute was established as a non-profit organization for the purpose of increasing the educational opportunities available to students in low performing schools and offers who can benefit from additional instructional services (after school tutoring) to achieve help build students academic achievement and overall school performance. .a higher level of learning. We are currently looking for 30 enthusiastic and energetic Teachers/Tutors in the city of Parlier who are available for summer school work from June 16th to July 14th between the hours of 8am and 230pm that are willing to work with English Language Learners (ELL) elementary and middle school students. The school sites for the summer will be at Benavidez Elementary and Parlier Jr. High To qualify for this position, you must possess the following: BA or BS from an accredited institution Multiple Subject or Single Subject Credential Additional Requirements: Must be able to pass LiveScan and TB test Bilingual Spanish preferred/required.
