Several years ago there was a tank of reserve fuel under the Hall of Records building that the County of Fresno removed because it was out of date. I also remember seeing food supplies that were being discarded. The Hall of Records is connected to the Courthouse through the garage. The Courthouse is also connected to the Count Jail via two tunnels. One is used for transport of inmates to court and the other is not used. There are tunnels all over the place, some used and some unused. Relics from our paranoid past (and present)!
