As you can see from this search, people everywhere are talking about the supposed health risks and toxicity of the FEMA trailers used for temporary housing in New Orleans. Are the FEMA trailers toxic? Do they pose a health risk? Many people think they do. Many people who have lived in the trailers have symptoms showing (and possibly proving) a link between the temporary housing provided by F.E.M.A. to the Hurricane Katrina survivors.
Many journalists are claiming that FEMA knew of the potential risks and ignored them. Others are talking about how FEMA withheld information that they should have given those people in the temporary trailers. One of the main concerns was Formaldehyde used in the particle board from sources I’ve read.
