Jobs in Fresno can be both easy and difficult to find depending on your skill level, degree area, and experience. Teaching jobs in Fresno are no different. If you’re a credentialed teacher with a few years of experience, it can still be difficult to find a good job in the Fresno area. Fresno teaching jobs are starting to dry up because of the state budget cuts taking place in every public and private school in Fresno.
Fresno teachers are getting older however. Many teachers have retired, and are planning to retire in the next 3-5 years. Now is a great time to start looking for Fresno teaching jobs, but if you don’t find that perfect job, don’t worry about the Fresno teacher market. In the next few years, Fresno will need a lot more teachers than we have now, and you should be able to choose which school and which school district you teach in.
While many people prefer Clovis schools. Most of us are happy right here in our Fresno classrooms. What about you, did you have a hard time finding your first teaching job in Fresno?
